The GATE Control Station Privacy Policy

In order to provide the high quality products and services, GATE Enterprise Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. (hereinafter referred as “GATE”) collects and processes data.

1. What kind of data we collect each time?

The statistics:
- current configuration of the GATE device
- statistics of the GATE device
- serial number of the GATE device
- the operating system version of PC, smartphone or tablet
- screen resolution of PC or smartphone
- MAC address of the network adapter
- model of smartphone (if available)
- Google ID or Facebook ID with name and surname published on Facebook account (if logged in)
- country

We use these data to improve our products and services.

2. What kind of data we collect and publish if the user agrees to participate in the GATE World Rankings?

- nickname
- statistics of the GATE device
- serial number of the GATE device (optional)
- country

These data are published on www.gatee.eu/rankings only if the user agrees to participate in the GATE World Rankings. Withdrawal of consent will delete the data from the GATE World Rankings.


3. What kind of data are processed for the technical support purposes?

Collected data:
- name and surname
- nickname
- email address
- country
- current configuration of the GATE device
- statistics of the GATE device
- serial number of the GATE device
- the operating system version of PC, smartphone or tablet
- screen resolution of PC or smartphone
- MAC address of the network adapter
- model of smartphone (if available)
- Google ID or Facebook ID with name and surname published on Facebook account (if logged in)

We use these data to analyze the GATE device and determine the cause of malfunction. We use personal information to contact you and to perform repairs or warranty repairs.

COMPLIANCE WITH THE EUROPEAN GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR)

The European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) went into effect on May 25, 2018. We want to assure you that GATE Enterprise Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. (“GATE”) takes your personal data seriously and is taking all of the necessary actions to be compliant with this GDPR regulation.

  • In the meaning of GDPR, the administrator of databases of personal information provided by the GATE Control Station users is GATE.
  • The user's personal data is processed in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 / WE (Official Journal No. 119, p. 1) (hereinafter also "GDPR") and other currently applicable, i.e., throughout the period of processing of specified data, legal provisions on the protection of personal data.
  • Personal data will be processed and stored from the moment they are obtained by GATE until the objection is made to their processing for this purpose (ie withdrawal of consent), and if the data were processed on the basis of the so-called marketing consent, until the period of limitation of possible claims arising from contracts concluded electronically or establishing that the data is no longer valid.

  • Users' personal data may be transferred to entities providing software maintenance services used by GATE and an entity providing hosting services.

CONSENT FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GATE WORLD RANKINGS

I hereby give consent for my personal data to be processed by GATE Enterprise Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. with headquarters at Torowa 3H; 30-435 Kraków, Poland, in terms of nickname, country, serial number of the GATE device, statistics of the GATE device, according to the Personal Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997 (Journal of Laws of 2016, item. 922 as amended) to participate in the GATE World Rankings - the ranking system of users of the GATE devices, which results will be published on the website: www.gatee.eu/rankings together with the position of the user in the general classification. We kindly inform you that you have the right to access and correct your data and that sharing your data is voluntary.


CONSENT FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA FOR THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT PURPOSES

I hereby give consent for my personal data to be processed by GATE Enterprise Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. with headquarters at Torowa 3H; 30-435 Kraków, Poland, in terms of name, surname, email address and statistical data including: configuration of the GATE device, statistics of the GATE device, serial number of the GATE device, the operating system version of PC, smartphone or tablet, screen resolution of the user’s PC or smartphone, MAC address of the network adapter, model of smartphone (if available), user's Google ID or Facebook ID (if logged in) with name and surname published on Facebook account, user’s country, according to the Personal Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997 (Journal of Laws of 2016, item. 922 as amended) for remote technical support, including analysis of the GATE device’s performance and determining the causes of malfunction in its operation and warranty repairs.
